Divina Blackwell-Bates

Farm raised in the Cornish Riviera, and now residing in the stunning Yorkshire dales, Divina has been writing since a child, had many short stories published in magazines in her late teens and 20s; but didn't publish her first book till 2014.

As a huge animal lover she initially wrote about what she knows, with her first books aimed at educating animal breeders about colour and coat genetics. Now she has dipped her toe (fingers?) into the world of fiction with her 2 book Big & Bootiful series, and currently in the throes of an epic magical fantasy 'Gatekeeper' saga, with the first book hopefully out soon!

When she isn't writing she is busy designing knit and crochet patterns under her CDUK Knitting & Crochet brand, and loving her sausage dogs. Known for her nitty gritty style of writing we are sure you will love her books.
